Thank you for approaching LUMIROUS

There are pros and cons to this matter.

-Cost-
Government hospitals: RM5,000 - RM10,000 per IVF cycle
Private hospitals: RM18,000 - RM20,000 per IVF cycle
>> Obviously, the cost of undergoing a cycle of IVF treatment in government hospitals is much lower than private hospitals.

-Waiting Time-
Government hospitals: Up to 1 year
Private hospitals: Within a few days
>> The waiting time is one of the most important factors that you must take into consideration when you are making your decision. The waiting time of undergoing an IVF treatment in government hospitals is much longer that private hospitals. As most of us know, age plays a very important role in the success rates of IVF. The older a couple becomes, the lower the IVF success rates. Time is of the essence when it comes to IVF.

-Requirements-
There might be some requirements that you have to fulfil if you would like to undergo an IVF treatment in government hospitals. Some of the requirements could be:
- Age: Below 43 years old
- Weight: Below 80 kg
