Egg growth concern
Michelle20sFemale
Hi everyone,
I’m currently undergoing IVF treatment. I had an ultrasound to check my egg size last week, but unfortunately, it hasn’t grown to the ideal size for transfer yet.
Is there anything I can do to help my eggs grow better, or should I just continue as advised?

Thank you for your question.
We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your egg growth.
Here are some tips that may help improve both the quality and size of your eggs:
1. Consider supplements that support egg health:
・CoQ10: A powerful antioxidant that helps boost energy production in egg cells and improve their quality.
・DHEA: Often used to support women with a diminished ovarian reserve by improving egg quality.
・Glutathione: Another strong antioxidant that protects egg cells from oxidative stress and damage.
・L-Arginine: Helps improve blood flow to the uterus and ovaries, which may support better egg development.
2. Reduce refined carbohydrates – Choose whole grains over white bread, rice, and sugary foods.
3. Avoid smoking, caffeine, and alcohol.
4. Exercise regularly to promote overall hormonal balance and blood circulation.
5. Manage stress. Yoga, breathing exercises, or meditation can help regulate stress levels effectively.
Most importantly, always work closely with your fertility specialist and follow their guidance, as they understand your condition best.
Wishing you all the best on your IVF journey. Take care and stay positive.
